Welcome aboard the Faller Group

A warm welcome to our new apprentices.

The new Faller intake started on the 3rd September 2018. A total of 19 apprentices involved in 10 apprenticeships and 2 study programmes will be trained in Waldkirch, Binzen and Schopfheim over the next few years. Faller offers countless opportunities for training – whether the young people are interested in tailor-made craftsmanship or want to operate high-tech machinery: there are roles as media designers, media technologists, packaging technology technologists, industrial clerks, electronics technicians, to name just a few. They can also study business administration and business informatics alongside.

Do you know about our Apprentice Rally?
On the second day of the apprenticeship, the trainees got to know Faller better. They were given questions about the company and had to find the answers from highly-motivated rally participants from the individual departments. All the groups found the solution. Congratulations on your first successful work as a team!

There was a relaxed introduction at the end of July so that families understand what the young people can expect at the Faller Group. Dr Michael Faller, managing partner and Natalie Anhorn, Head of Training, gave presentations about the training. At the same time, parents were able to meet the trainers. During the tour, the highlight of the day, all guests were able to experience the folding carton production live and in colour.

Starting working life
The training ends by successfully passing a test. Faller enables apprentices and students to sign a temporary employment contract in accordance with the collective wage agreement. This year, they can further develop your skills in the specialist departments. We know how important it is for young professionals to gain experience and develop confidence in their skills. Almost all the young workers will then stay in these departments – a large number of the young employees are looking forward to a follow-up contract.

We wish all of them a good start and hope they enjoy getting to know their employer.
